Did we just travel back to the year 1998? DMX, who is staging a comback of his own has revealed that within the next few months, he would like to stage a Ruff Ryders comeback. The "Get At Me Dog" MC has also revealed that Ruff Ryders Entertainment co-founder Joaquin “Waah” Dean is working on booking a few venues across the country so that fans of the beloved crew can see your faves on stage.
So far Swizz Beatz, Drag-On, and Murda Mook have signed on the dotted line, but Ruff Ryders first lady Eve and The LOX have yet to give their confirmation, simply because they haven't heard from X.
“We are all family and we’re going to come back stronger than when we left,” said the Yonkers rapper. “It’s going to take the nation by storm.”
While I did ryde or die for Ruff Ryders back in the day when I growing up a teenager, I don't know if I would pay money to see a bunch of hood rats walking around the stage doing nothing but rapping at the same time into a microphone. As for Eve, she better know what's good for her. She's been working on that Lip Lock album since forever and I'm sure she could use the publicity to preview a few tracks. And what are The Lox doing? Sitting on their asses waiting for those back checks while Diddy is stil out making money off some poor soul.
