CHRIS BROWN TO EXPERIMENT WITH DUB STEP ON NEW ALBUM
While Chris Brown has smartly retreated underground while his label does all it can to repair his messy public image (since his publicist stated that he will not be giving any interviews this year), the singer is about to give it to us once again with a whole new sound on his upcoming album, titled Fortune. On Breezy's last album F.A.M.E., he experimented with dance, hip hop and electro. Now comes word via his Twitter page that he will be experimenting with dub step on his new album, slated to come out this year.
I actually think Chris experimenting with dub step and other aspects of the dance world is a great idea. I've always looked at Chris as a crossover pop star, someone who isn't stuck in one specific genre, like, say Trey Songz, who I can't imagine doing anything other than R&B. I personally prefer Breezy on the dance floor, and in my opinion the best songs off F.A.M.E. (besides Look At Me Now) were tracks like Yeah (3X) and Beautiful People. Stay away from trying to be a rapper, because like Justin Bieber and Brandy, it's not a good look. I can't wait to hear the new music and find out what producers he will be working with.
