It is hard for me to believe that it's been fourteen years since Brandy & Monica's huge R&B hit The Boy Is Mine sat on the #1 Billboard charts for 13 weeks and garnered them both a Grammy. Now the two R&B veterans have reunited once again in Miami (this time with Rico Love instead of Boys producer Rodney Jerkins, whom if I'm not mistaken Brandy is still pissed at for giving her shitty tracks for her last album Human) to rekindle some of that magic for their upcoming albums.
“We have Both Been Blessed Beyond Measure..14years later,” tweeted Monica, while Brandy responded, “I love you so much Mo❤thank u!”
I can't wait since I am a huge fan of both singers. Monica’s oft-delayed seventh album New Life and Brandy’s untitled RCA/Chameleon Records debut will be in stores this spring.
