He may have had one of the best and most underrated electro pop albums of 2011 (with the excellent Do It In The A.M.), and was recently dropped from Cherrytree/Interscope Records, but that doesn't mean Vincent Frank has stopped pumping out the music. The singer, who has dropped the moniker Frankmusik and now goes by Vince Did It has unleashed a brand new tune online called "Dynamo," and, of course, it's sheer pop fabulosity.
What I have always loved about Vince is that he's that rare male singer in the game right now that can create a beautiful melody over a ferosh dance beat, and also sings his ass off if you've ever seen him live (which I had the pleasure when he made a stop on Erasure's Tomorrow's World tour back in September). While Dynamo isn't as polished as the songs on his DIITAM record like Blame It On Me, We Collide, or No I.D., Vince Did It is out to carve out a niche all his own.
