Rihanna may be taking a little vaca after many messy performances on the last leg of her LOUD tour, but don't think the Bajan beauty has forgotten about her latest album. The singer took to Twitter to ask fans what should be the third single to drop off her new album.
I need answers!!!! #NEXTSINGLE #TTT
While I would be the forst to go on the record to say this is the most uneven and rushed album of Rihanna's career (which isn't saying much since she releases a new album every year), there aren't many hot tracks to choose from. Birthday Cake sounds like an interlude (although I have been hearing a naughtier full version of the track is coming out next year), but if I had to choose I would pick the following two tracks:
Cockiness (Luv It)
Where Have You Been
I have had Kelis' excellent Flesh Tone album in heavy rotation since it dropped in 2010, and while I can't believe it's been two years since we've gotten new music from the fashionable singer (my does time fly), Nas' baby muvva dished a bit on her new record that's set to drop in early 2012.
Check out her interview with AllSaints Basement Sessions below where she talks about the new album
The new queen of pop trash Christina Aguilera is currently working on her follow-up to her 2010 flop Bionic, and is also gearing up to judge the second season of The Voice next month. Now comes word that the singer has revealed the lead single from her forthcoming album.
Rumors are circulating that the track is being called “F*ck Your Body.” (oh how I love her subtlety) and a very short snippet of the tack has been making the rounds online as well. If this is a way to get attention to your new music, I'm sure it won't be a problem. Hell, if Enrique Iglesias could come out with a song called Tonight (I'm Fucking You) and Lady Gaga can release a new track for her fans on Christmas called Stuck on Fucking You, how hard could it be for Dee Snyder's drag sister who is still wearing the same slutty outfits from her Lady Marmalade days?

After living with HIV for 20 years, former NBA star turned mogul Magic Johnson has been putting his money where is mouth is. In the years that he has ben fighting this disease, Magic has opted to become an HIV activist for the black community
Johnson recently sat down with the Huffington Post to talk about his Magic Johnson Foundation, HIV prevention, homophobia in the black community and why he would like some of your favorite hip hop artists (some who I know have no problem getting down with their boys on the low) to help him educate the community on issues we so easily love to sweep under the rug.
“I learned a lot from the white gay community because they had gotten their community, rallied them, educated them and did a wonderful job about driving the numbers down. That is the best approach that I’ve seen; it’s been the most effective. So what we try to do in our community is bring those results to us. So I’m working hard to continue to educate minorities about HIV and AIDS and we’ve got to band together. We’re too fragmented right now, but if we can do that, we’re going to do well.
As a hip-hop fan, you realize that homophobia is still an issue everywhere, but especially in the black community. When people are scared to talk about it, that’s how the disease spreads. So what have you been doing to get that risk reduced?
What we’re trying to do is reach out to the hip-hop community because they have power — power with their voice, power with that mic in their hand and power with the lyrics that they sing. I have a lot of friends in that industry and so what we’re trying to do is rally them to get behind the cause, deliver the message to these young people that HIV and AIDS is big and it’s not going anywhere. They can make a difference right away by speaking out, because they have a big fan base.
So we’re finding out that a lot of them want to be involved; they’re just looking for a group like ours to latch onto and be a part of it. We haven’t really had any push-back from the hip-hop community.
Is there anybody you can name?
We’re going to name everybody in a little while because it’s more than one person. We’ve got about five or six people that we’re talking to. We’re going to come out next year with everybody and we’ll have a nice big press conference and what we’re going to do, what our plan is, because it’s so important that we rally — not just them, either. I need the hip-hop community but I also need the basketball players and football players. We need a little bit of everybody, so that’s what we’re working on now
The fact that there are many groups of color who opt not to talk about such a heavy issue is astounding. And while it is true that we have come far in regards of AIDS research and that people are living longer on meds, condemning black and latino LGBT folk needs to stop. HIV is still rampant in our communities, and the sooner we educate the youth on STI's and such, the better we can contain this disease. I applaud Magic for what he is doing and can only hope he can get a few allies in the hip hop community to join him in his fight, though I sincerely doubt that he will.
As we get closer to the release of Madonna's highly-anticipated 12th album at her new home Live Nation/Interscope, there have been plenty of rumors going around in regards to the new record. Word on the street is that her new album will be called LUV and the entire album's track listing has taken a leak as well. While it's painfully obvious that she has two songs coming out called Give Me All Your Luvin' and Masterpiece, the latter which is on the soundtrack of her film W.E., it's been rumored that Turn Up The Radio is a reworked Martin Solveig track that was supposed to be on his recent album. I'm not buying the album title as official, but the list of songs might be fact. Either way until we get an official statement, it's fun to speculate, right?
MADONNA NEW ALBUM TRACK LISTING:
Sitting on the Whole World
Turn Up the Radio
Waving with the Crowd
Suspended to the Light
Gimme All Your Luvin’
Reason & Passion
The Darkness Void
While Beyonce is allegedly in labor awaiting the arrival of her first child with Jay Z, the singer has put in the time to reveal her top 10 favorite songs of 2011 via her website, and shocker - none of the songs on the list are from her shitty album 4. I wasn't surprised that her hubby Joe Camel made the list, but the rest - including Kelly Rowland and Rihanna kinda did. Check out her list of faves below...
Big Sean feat. Nicki Minaj – “Dance (A$$)”
Future – “Tony Montana”
Jay-Z & Kanye West – “Ni**as in Paris”
Kelly Rowland feat. Lil Wayne – “Motivation”
Adele – “Someone Like You”
Drake feat. Lil Wayne – “The Motto”
Rihanna - "Man Down"
Chris Brown feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne – “Look at Me Now”
James Blake – “The Wilhelm Scream”
Frank Ocean – “Novacane”
It makes perfect sense that she would add Frank Ocean since he wrote a song on her new album, and choosing Rihanna comes across more like a PR stunt to squash rumors that they can't stand each other. I'm sure there are better songs she could have chosen from the Bajan beauty, since Man Down was a huge flop as a single. But it's not my list so who am I to choose?

I have always been an avid fan of the sexual side of Russia, with the long-running success of gay porn company Bel Ami and the recent uprising of gay dance quartet Kazaki. It brings be great pleasure to present to you a new Russian boy band called DIK, in which a few of the members is not afraid to show off their assets NSYNC and NKOTBSB were never this naughty back in the day. Check out the NSFW music video for their song Wild World (Dicky Mir) below...
A tune that never made the Femme Fatale album cut called Strangest Love has leaked online, and I have to admit it's surprisingly good. I'm just glad that Britney has learned to get out of her own way and let the major label Gods do their job by giving her the best pop tracks anyone would kill for. If she would just get back to performing the way she used to before she lost her damn mind she'd be as perfect as her Britbot body was programmed to be.
I'm always a sucker for 80's-inspired synth pop (if done right), and openly gay Sydney, Austraila duo Divine Knights have all the ingredients to make them the dance band to watch in the immediate future. They remind me of all the things I love about Depeche Mode, Yazoo and Erasure, and since Dangerous Muse is taking 10,000 years to release new music, the next best thing for me is Divine Knights. Check out their music video for their track Storm below, and follow them on their Facebook Youtube and Twitter pages
Jessie J's biggest hit to date, the Dr. Luke-produced Domino finally gets a proper music video. A short while ago there was a live video version of this song making the internet rounds, and I thought her label could have done better to at least put a few dollars together to give this song a real music video. Glad they finally came to their senses. I always said if Jessie would have come out before Katy Perry's hits heavy sophomore album, she would have been a better version of the California Gurls singer simply because her singing voice is much more tolerable live.
While their danciest album to date Night Work failed to ignite music fans like they'd hoped, Scissor Sisters have announced that they are working on a new album. After touring as an opening act for Lady Gaga on her Monster's Ball tour, the band have been quietly working on new music and also plan to release a new single in the new year.
Here is what the group had to say on their Facebook page:
“We’ve spent 2011 making an album that we’re really proud of and can’t wait to share with you. Because you’ve been such good boys and girls, we’ll be kicking off 2012 with a sneak peek of a brand new song to whet your appetite for what’s to come.”
The new track, titled Shady Love will premiere on BBC Radio 1 January 2. Can't wait!
Kim Kuntrashian can finally breathe a temporary sigh of relief from the fame whore haters who are still "shockadid by her STUNT QUEEN E! WEDDING SPECIAL, because 16 days after marrying her new piece in a pink Cadillac, singer/hot mess Sinead O' Connor and her new husband Barry Herridge have filed for divorce.
Sinead set the record straight bia her blog:
I had for reasons u will all understand, wished to keep this private but have been told today it is to be leaked in the next few days despite my best efforts. So I must now leak it myself so as the record is straight. I won’t under any circumstances ever have any further comments to make on this matter than those I write here this evening. Either privately or publicly.
From the moment myself and my husband got together not long ago, there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. These were people who had never met me but had formed opinions of me based on what they read about ‘Sinead ‘O’Connor’ in the media etc. Entitled as they are to their opinions about me many perhaps well deserved, there was no righteousness on anyone’s part to put my husband through what he was put through as a result of his desire to be with me and to marry me and as a result of his actually marrying me.
Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband’s life. And also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink. My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage. It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear. And that being with me was not going to serve him positively , career wise or any other wise. I saw his life leave him because of how people close to him reacted. And I can’t take anyone’s life. And a woman wants to be a joy to her husband. So.. U love someone? Set them free.”
I'm all for the old cliche' that if you love someone set them free, but shouldn't you have known his family would have responded in a negative way before you walked down the aisle? I seriously think there needs to be a law stating that once you get married, you have to live together for at least five years before you can file for divorce, that way it will make these breeders think twice before they impulsively say their "I Do's." While I am not someone looking to follow the heterosexual institution of marriage, I do think it's rather disgusting that gays are constantly blamed for all the problems in the world (including the decline of marriage), when we all know it's because straights are given a too easy of an out when it comes to tying the knot.
Is Marc Jacobs back to canoodling with his ex? That was the big question when they were spotted together vacationing in St. Barts with celebrity stylist/Bravolebrity Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger yesterday. Not too long ago I brought you the news that the fashion designer was dating Brazilian porn star Harry Louis and were spotted in London together not too long ago. Marc has gone on the record to say that he and Lorenzo Martone, who Marc was engaged to before they broke it off in 2010, have remained good friends and talk constantly on the phone, but I guess since Harry is a porn star and escort maybe he and Marc have an open relationship, since they are both traveling career boys. Whatever the case may be, if you like it I love it.
If only Ru would have thought to turn this into an actual spin-off show because her other show Rupaul's Drag U is beyond unwatchable. Among the girls participating in the event: Pandora Boxx, Manila Luzon, Rebecca Glasscock, Bebe Zarhara Benet, Sharon Needles, PhiPhi Ohara, Sahara Davenport, and Mimi Imfurst

Madonna has given us a first look at the ad for her new Truth or Dare fragrance line, but it's her photoshopper who should be awarded big time for making her look ovah! While the swelling has finally gone down in the Material Girl's real face, what I'm really looking forward to is what the photos for her new album will look like. I bet her perfume probably smells like the bottle she blew in the documentary.
Right on schedule, Lance Bass apologized for using the word "Tranny" in a derogatory way on Access Hollywood.
Twatted Bass on December 23:
"You think ONE of my MANY transvestite friends would have told me "tranny" is a bad word now! They only call themselves that - I'm sorry if I offended anyone by using that word! #justbeeneduacated"
I think where Lance once again gets it wrong is he's referring to his friends as transvestites, which, as my girl Noxeema Jackson explains with great candor are straight men who like to dress up in women's clothing for kicks. Transsexuals are people who are stuck in the wrong gender.

As a Christmas gift for her "little monsters," Lady Gaga has released a brand new track for free called Stuck On Fucking You, in which the singer recorded in one take. Here is what the Queen of Pretentiousness had to say about the origin of the track.
So to give you a little background to the creation of this song. I wrote it in Minnesota after the Monster Ball on the tour bus. We recorded it in one shot. Fernando on guitar, Paul on Drum Machine. I wrote, sang it, and freestyled the last minute + a half of the song.
Glad this was never on the Born This Way album since her flirtation with Country music is not the move (although it wouldn't have made a difference since most of that album was all over the place anyway). Check out Stuck On Fucking You below...
While Adam Lambert and his reality star boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, 26, were making headlines just a few days ago after getting arrested at a Helsinki nightclub for fighting each other like Ike and Tina in the back of the limo, from the pic above it looks like they've kissed and made up.
Lambert, 29 even took what he learned from Jamie Foxx and blamed their fight on the alcohol and jetlag. It seems Sauli's family isn't too upset about all the drama because Glambatar twatted that he was spending the holidays with his BF's family.
"Xmas Eve with the Koskinens!" the American Idol runner-up Tweeted on Saturday along with a picture of him and Koshinen decked out in a festive hat. "Just had a huge traditional Finnish feast and now opening gifts! Merry and bright!"
Shortly following Thursday's jail release, Koskinen blogged in Finnish: "Love is not always easy, but it's forever."
I guess this is all great publicity for Lambert, since he's about to release a new single and album very soon. Hell, if Gaga can make a career on calculated stunt-pulling to bring attention to her shitty music, why can't Glambert do the same?
Courtesy of EW, here is your first look at Magic Mike, the new film that is loosely based on actor Channing Tatum's career as a stripper before he became a movie star. The film, which is directed by Steven Soderbergh stars from left to right Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Tatum. Matt Bomer, Riley Keough and Adam Rodriguez also star. I love a good guilty pleasure, and as long as it's trashy fun like Showgirls, another favorite movie of mine, I'll be there to see it with a cock ring on in the theater.
The more Rihanna becomes famous, the more she is morphing into the naughtier little sister of Beyonce. Word on the street is that the overworked pop star and her frequent music video collaborator Melina have come under fire yet again for plagarizing ideas into their music videos. The first time it was when they were taken to court by photographer/director David LaChapelle for plagarizing some of his photography ideas in their S&M video (it was later settled out of court). Now RiRi and Melina are being accused of plagarizing their You Da One video.
Some of the visuals in the video resemble some of the work by photographer Solve Sundsbo, featuring model Edita Vilkeviciute. I haven't heard whether or not Solve is crying plagarism or is looking to file a lawsuit, but I'm starting to think it may be time for Rihanna's team to start shopping for a fresh new director with an edgy vision like Rihanna's entire image has been made up to be.
I'm sure those Rihanna fans that eat her doo doo on a regular basis will say that there are no new ideas under the sun, but let me point out something I always have to tell folks who aren't necessarily artists. There is nothing wrong with being inspired by someone's work. What makes it stealing is when you literally copy what the artist you have been inspired by ver batem without elevating it to another level to make it your own. I understand Rihanna is a busy woman, and she doesn't have the time to come up with ideas for her music videos (which is where the director comes in), but Melina has been coming under fire quite a bit lately. In addition to the two RiRi video fiascos, Melina also directed Kelly Rowland's Lay It On Me MV, and was called out for plagarizing ideas from herself (two years ago Melina directed Livvi Franc's I'm That Bitch which shared similar visuals) I think it may be about time that artists, such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland and too many to mention here need to start paying more attention to what they are attaching their names to in the future. Unless, of course, they're not totally in control of their careers as they would like us to believe.
Check out You Da One below...
Courtesy of Screen Gems, here is your first look at the Underworld Legacy, which gives fans an inside look back at the series to catch moviegoers up before they see Underworld Awakening on January 20th. The video features an intro by Selene herself, actress Kate Beckinsale!
The new film, which also stars Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance, Beckinsale returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species. Check out the video below...
Kelis, who is not only one of the most underrated musicians in the game is also one of the most fashion-forward. She has always marched to the beat of her own drum (which is why I love her), and has sparked many an imitator. Now the singer graces the cover of the premiere issue of Hunger Magazine and in a few of the shots not only has she gone back to the 'do from the Bossy era, but she also reminds us who was the first one to pave the way for many of these new singers to be a littlee more fashion-forward when it comes to putting a ferosh look with their music. Speaking of which, I can't wait to hear what she cooks up on the follow-up to one of my favorite Kelis albums Flesh Tone.
