We all know Tyler Perry's claim to fame is playing the annoying Madea in all them plays and movies, but what he really wants to do is be a contestant on Toddlers and Tiaras. She knows she'll never be the prettiest of them all, so why not channel your inner Black Swan and pose on the poster for your latest movie Madea's One Big Happy Family. I actually saw the play on DVD around Thanksgiving, and it was pretty good. We'll see how great the movie is when it drops in April. Or better yet, try out for RuPaul's Drag Race season 4 next year.

America's favorite drag superstar RuPaul Charles is livid that the elegant queens that dictate what's gay and appropriate have snubbed the legendary drag icon. According to the New York Post, the very tired, whitewashed organization have ignored LOGO's hit series by not even nominating it for an Outstanding Reality Program award.
"RuPaul thinks she deserves to be at the awards and she shouldn't have to share the spotlight with Heidi Klum, who was nominated for 'Project Runway,' because Heidi isn't gay," an insider said. One source said GLAAD didn't nominate "A-List" or "Drag Race" because they stereotype the gay community -- unlike Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge of "The Fabulous Beekman Boys," who were chosen for their positive representation. A GLAAD rep insisted, "No one from 'RuPaul's Drag Race' or 'The A-List' contacted GLAAD about the nominations."
First of all positive representation of gays on TV is very slim to none. I can understand The A List getting a snub, but RuPaul's Drag Race? Calling that show a stereotype is bullshit. I feel power faggots have continued to give power to their straight counterparts (be they reality hosts or pop singers), but when one of our own does something creative for our community they consistantly get the cold shoulder. Ru's Drag Race not only features campy bitchy humor, but it also reveals heartwarming stories of our contestants (and lets us learn why they became drag queens). As for The Fabulous Beekman Boys, I immediately got turned off from that how when I saw the uncomfortably queeny promos. I say fuck GLAAD. We don't need their stinking approval of what is or isn't appropriate.
Yahoo! Movies has unleashed the official movie poster for Scream 4, which will slay it's way into theaters on April 14. Director Wes Craven told Shocktillyoudrop.com that he is currently doing reshoots in Michigan to fine tune the opening murder sequence. The strangest thing regarding this poster is that I recall seeing this exact poster around the time it was announced they were shooting Scream 4.

Less than two weeks ago on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live talk show, 80's pop stars Tiffany and Debbie Gibson stopped by to promote their new SyFy movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (which aired on the network this past Saturday). During their brief chat Tiffany let it slip that she dated one of the members of NKOTB who turned out later in life to be gay. Jonathan was the shy, quiet one of the group so he pretty much flew under the radar while brother Jordan and Joey MacIntire got all the attention.

It loks like my campaign for True Blood's Joe Mangianello to get the role of the Man of Steel has been short-lived, because director Zack Snyder has announced today that he has chosen English actor Henry Cavill to portray the iconic hero and don the classic reds and blues. Cavill will also star in the upcoming film Immortals, and recently starred on the now-cancelled Showtime series, The Tudors. Christopher Nolan along with his brother Jonathan will be producing the film, while David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Blade trilogy) will be writing the screenplay. I'm a big fan of Zack's, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what he brings to the Superman franchise as well as his next film Sucker Punch. Now the next question should be, who should play Lois Lane?

After an early year of alleged plagiarism from both Britney and Gaga, we have another pop superstar to add to the list. The moment JLo's new single On The Floor hit the web, many fans (including myself) lifted our eyebrow (right or left it's up to you to choose) like Dwayne Johnson and felt we'd heard this sound before. On The Floor bagan to sound like a poor man's version of Kat Deluna's international hit, Party O' Clock (which I'm currently obsessed with).
When the song first same out Kat spoke to The Daily News and gave the usual diplomatic answer that most manufactured pop singers with minimal industry clout give, hoping to become the next JLo or Gaga. The 23-year-old Dominican sensation said it was “cool” that JLo was “inspired by my musical sound and style”, and also thanked the latin bombshell for “pave the way for Latina’s like myself”, and finishing with a nice “I love her”.
Well how quickly we change our tune because Kat recently spoke to the NY Daily News again, this time with some not-so-kind words to the 41-year-old superstar Bronx native whom she once idolized. Not only is On The Floor and Party O' Clock similar in production (both were produced by the overexposed RedOne), but I'm hearing the videos are very similar as well, from the wardrobe down to the choreography.
“I’ve seen this before, where the more established artist tries to take the vision and artistic ideas away from an emerging artist, and assumes no one will notice because of their bigger shadow,” DeLuna said through her spokeswhore. “Luckily, my loyal fans and the power of the Internet have let the ‘Kat’ out of the bag.”
This is not the first time Jen has allegedly snatched Kat's luxurious extentions out of her head. A source claims when both were on the same record label back in 2007 (Sony/BMG), DeLuna was working on her debut album when, her label suggested the song "Miles in These Shoes" as a possible lead single. Apparently JLo liked the song as well, and being that she has more money in the bank she has control over what songs make her album before anyone else, so it made it on Jen's album Brave instead. And I'm sure you also remember the notorious beef between JLo and Mariah, with the singer accusing Jen of stealing her urban swag on her I'm Real and Ain't It Funny remixes, as well as the other "hood" tracks she did with Ja Rule and the Murder Inc. crew.
It doesn't matter Kat because Jennifer has yet to set any kind of musical trend in this business, since she has always tried to play it safe with her music instead of being the creative artist she despearately wants to be but fails at everytime. Sure her money is long, but as far as choreography, videos and musical catalogue, JLo has never brought it hard like Britney, Madonna, or Janet. This is the nature of the business, and everyone from Madonna to Beyonce have steam rolled over less established artists to get the hotter demos on their full-lengths. Kat's sophomore album Inside Out is available in Germany, but hopefully it will drop here soon. You can always but it on import if you're up for paying a little extra. In the meantime be on the lookout for her next single "Dancing Tonight."

After her debut album One was shelved due to her underperforming singles (her debut was supposed to drop on 1-11-11) singer Sky Ferreira has plans to release an EP/Mini-album instead.
The mini album will be called As If!, and will feature production from frequent collaborators Bloodshy & Avant, as well as Greg Kurstin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ke$ha, Lilly Allen), Nicole Morier (Britney Spears, Wynter Gordon), Klas Åhlund (Robyn), and Canadian singer/songwriter Colin Munroe. I love all her work with Bloodshy & Avant, but the minute I saw Klas Ahlund's name added to the mix I was immediately sold. Klas has made some of the catchiest, most excellent electro pop in years. It's nice that RedOne is getting all the attention, but the Swedes are what's doing it for my aural fixation right now. As If! will be out on March 8th.

Could a reconciliation between 50 Cent and Game be in the near future? It's no secret that Game, a one time member of Fiddy's G Unit crew had a falling out with the rap entrepreneur, even going as far as saying 50 was having sex with members of his rap crew. Game has since released a brand new mixtape called Purp & Patron, and the Compton rapper spits on the single "Dead", “What up 50, let’s talk it out/ But until we talk it out/ Don’t end up dead.” So my question is tis? Is he willing to bury the hatchet, or was this a backhanded compliment/threat?
Here is what Game told Rap Up about turning over a new leaf, and putting old beefs to bed: “Man, I’ll have a sit-down with anybody. I’m not opposed to anything, That was just a lyric in a song that breeded maybe hope for some fans out there. Not necessarily saying that’ll ever happen, but I’m always open to chopping it up and letting bygones be bygones to any situation in life pretty much—unless it persists to piss me off or rub me uneasy. I believe these two won't bury any hatchet, but it would be good if rappers could put some of these senseless beefs to bed. Game plans to release the follow-up to Purp & Parton called The Hangover, a collection of leftover tracks from his recent studio sessions. I'm hearing he will drop 10-tracks today at 4:20 p.m. PST.

Jason Statham stopped by Lopez Tonight on Wednesday to shoot the shit with George Lopez and also give his fans more insight into his musical background, crazy movie stunts, and much more. I like Jason alot because he embodies alot more characterwise in the action roles he takes on as opposed to one-note action "actors" like Jean Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal and Arnold Schrawzenegger. I also prefer him in other character driven roles such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and The Bank Job. I'm positive that one day the scripts will match the brilliance on how he convincingly brings action alive on screen. His latest action film The Mechanic is in theaters now.

Alot has been kept under wraps regarding Britney Spears's new video Hold It Against Me, but I do have a bit of news regarding what to expect from her new album. MTV News is reporting that the pop tart's dance heavy seventh album will drop on March 15. Not only are we getting a more focused Britney in the music game, but the deluxe edition of her album will feature four additional tracks. Take that Rihanna and your 11-track Loud CD. As I have reported a gazillion times on this here blog, the album will feature production from Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Fraser T. Smith, Bloodshy & Avant and too many more to mention, with masterminds Max Martin and Dr. Luke pulling a Stuart Price and stitching the album together into one cohesive product. Fans can choose between a standard (soft pack/wallet packaging) version of the album and the deluxe (expanded soft pack with additional booklet pages), which will feature three or four additional tracks. You can pretty much guess which package I'll be choosing two months from now.

With the recent rise in LGBTprogramming (like RuPauls Drag Race, Glee, The A List, the new gay Jersey Shore reality series and a few LGBT shows set to air on network TV in the fall, one of LOGO's biggest shows back in the early stages of it's launch Noah's Arc has started a campaign to get back on the network. Word on the street is that folks at MTV and LOGO are considering putting Noah and the gang back on the air, but they won't do it without a show of support. What's great about this is that there is a Facebook page where you can share your experiences, memories and thoughts about the show. The more you vote and share your support for a series that wasn't really iven a chance to grow and become the show it was meant to be, the better chance this show has of coming back. So be a good sport ans head over to and spread the word. Not only do we need some long overdo gay folks of color on TV, but we also need the show to be an hour long with some tighter writing and at least a 13 episode order.

Four months ago Gino D'Acampo promised viewers of This Morning that he would cook naked if the show won a National Television Award - it did and he kept his promise. Definitely not something you'd see ever on The Food Network, but that's because the Brits are much more cheeky (pun intended).
After The Walking Dead proved to be a huge success for AMC, the CW is looking at launching a zombie series of their own. According to TV Guide, the network is looking at picking up a new series called Awakening, in which a zombie apocalypse serves as the backdrop about two sisters who face off against one another just as a zombie uprising begins. The show is created by William Laurin and Glenn Davis and reports are going around that the network, that has created scary hits out of The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural are looking at possibly ordering a pilot, but nothing has been set in stone as of yet. And that's not all. i'm also hearing that NBC is trying to get in all the zombie action with their recent development of Zombies vs. Vampires, a show out of McG's production company. For those not in the know a few years ago the Peacock network passed on The Walking Dead, and I'm sure since they see how successful the show is on AMC they're kicking themselves in the ass.
I welcome as many vampire and zombie movies and Tv shows as possible (as long as they don't fall into whiny Twilight territory) but I often wonder should the show get picked up will the CW push the envelope when it comes to showing zombie gore like TWD has?
Gee that was quick! Less than a month after it was announced that ABC had picked up a reboot for Charlie's Angels, the cast has officially been picked. I was campaigning for Battlestar's Tricia Helfer, Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy and Undercovers star GuGu Mbatha-Raw, but instead Deadline is reporting that Minka Kelly, Rachel Taylor, and Annie Ilonzeh are the new Angels. Sony Pictures TV and Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films will produce and Charlie's Angels will premiere this fall. I'm really hoping it does as well as Hawaii 5-0 on CBS, since the girls are taking their jigglies from L.A. to Miami. If it's as good and a bit campy like Burn Notice I'll definitely watch. I'm just afraid the show won't survive a season. it might have a better chance on USA. The only one I am familiar with is Minka because I watch Parenthood and she's also Derek Jeter's girlfriend. There's also word that McG, who directed both film versions with Drew, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu may direct the pilot (there's rumors going around that he may also direct the pilot for Wonder Woman at NBC, but as of yet that hasn't been confirmed). It's no big secret that the daughter of the Republican party's favorite fame whore/reality star Sarah Palin has been making a living preaching abstinence at colleges even though she's never stepped foot in University or kept her legs closed long enough to queef the word abstinence. The Huffington Post is reporting that Bristol was supposed to make $17,000 to speak at Washington University in St. Louis next month, and the students are so pissed by her preaching hypocrisy to them that they asked actress Kate Walsh to tweet her support.

There's nothing wrong with kids being open to different ideas unless it's the right ideas and it will benefit them in some way. Telling kids to not have sex at all while they are in college is unrealistic. Hormones are raging, pressure is on with curricular activities, and sometimes if kids need to let off steam they do things that they may regret down the road like have unprotected sex while drunk or high. Give them the tools to protect themselves in case they do something they will regret later on. preaching no sex at all like I said is unrealistic.
I ask that same question about Bristol's expertise on obstaning from sex like I always ask what does Sarah Palin know about anything? We all know that donkey's nowhere near smarter than a fifth grader, but she has learned how to master the art of the American dream. Lie, cheat, steal, and bullshit your way to instant success without any regrets, remorse, or accountability for others. I think people are wasting their time going to college and getting a degree. Why rack up years of college debt when you can get paid dancing poorly on Dancing with the Z list and make thousands being a hypocrite? I don't judge anyone on how they make a dollar, but if you're going to make thousands talking to a bunch of students, gow about talking about somethin you do know - like being a teen mom and how you're trying to make that work instead of telling people to keep their damn legs closed.

SS aren't huge in America, which is a shame because their music and fashion sense can rival Lady Gaga and Madonna any day, two artists who's music has already been highlighted on the series.
