VIDEO: FROM ABOVE - NOT THE SAME GIRL

Not too long ago I gave you followers a first listen to From Above's new single Not The Same Girl. What's interesting about the group is that they are a new project concocted by Beyonce's dad Matthew Knowles.

While the song is ferosh dance pop in the vein of Danity Kane/Pussycat Dolls, the video is all kinds of wrong. We all know Bey is the queen of seagger jacking, but when you rip off two girls from your former group, you most certainly will not be rich for points. The first girl that sings in the video sounds exactly like Kelly Rowland and then Matthew had the nerve to have From Above doing the handography from Single Ladies. Besides the lack of originality, and the colorful, over the top costumes, I'm always a sucker for a good pop tune and I'm definitely digging From Above. I just hope for the next video, Matthew will actually use some of that money he made off of his daughter and put a better team of choreographers, make up artists and stylists together. Check MTV for showtimes of their reality show (does it even air in the U.S.?) and check out Not The Same Girl below...
