VH1 TO PRODUCE TLC BIOPIC

VH1 has announced that the network will produce a biopic on one of the biggest selling girl groups of the 90's - the iconic TLC. remaining members T-Boz and Chilli will serve as consultants and Kate Lanier will write the script, which will show the rise of TLC up to Left Eye's death and beyond. Let's see if they add T-Boz's recent bankruptcy filation as well as all the friction between the girls (especially with the most creative member of the group Left Eye) into the movie.

“The reality of this brings me to tears because I am seeing one of my dreams come to life. I alwaysfelt our story had to be told. What makes it even more amazing is having Kate Lanier on board. I remember watching ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ with Lisa, and I knew then whoever wrote that story had to write ours. I will forever be thankful to Jeff Olde for believing in our story and going the extra mile to make it happen,” said Chilli.

“I’m just overjoyed. I appreciate Jeff Olde and everyone on staff at VH1 that took interest in us, thank you. Kate Lanier is amazing. I’m honored to work with her I love her art. Well here we go on another TLC ride and I can’t wait. Like Biggie said ‘Now if ya don’t know, now ya knowwwww,’” stated Tionne.

I grew up listening to TLC, and CrazySexyCool is one of my favorite albums, so I'm really looking forward to seeing this film, especially since I have been noticing with all the reality shows starring some of the most ghetto folk have started to turn VH1 into the new BET.
