Actor Sam Jones III, best known on Smallville as Clark Kent's best friend Pete and also starred on the first season of the hit raunchy Spike TV series Blue Mountain State has been sentenced to one year in jail for his role in a massive drug ring.
According to TMZ the actor checked in to a low-security facility in Lompoc, California some time last week and will serve 366-days after pleading "guilty" to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 Oxycodone pills ... and was sentenced in June.
If the feds would have gotten their way Jones would have served five years in prison so I guess in their eyes he got off pretty easy. What bothers me about hearing this is that they can find room to put Sam in prison, but Lindsay Lohan serves only five minutes due to "overcrowding?" I see how you people do business in Cali. I just hope while he's there none of the inmates saw his sex tape with Playboy playmate Karissa Shannon, because they might try to re-enact some of them positions on him.
