The maggots haven't even started eating away at Amy Winehouse and already Hollywood is looking to make a movie based on her life. And since they both have a face only a mother could love, the person Hollyweird has been eyeing is none other than queen of pop thievery Lady Gaga to play her in a bio pic.
Here is what Mitch Winehouse had to say to UK's Sunday Mirror about the rumors:
“I have heard that Lady Gaga is keen to play Amy in a film. I don’t know what her English accent is like but it’s not just an English accent she would have to perfect – it’s an English-Cockney-Jewish accent so she better start practising now,” he laughed. “But she would be great.”
If you want to know what Gaga's faux-English accent sounds like, check out her wretched new video for Marry The Night. To be fair, while I think Gaga has a very good singing voice, I would not like to see her play Amy. Instead, they need to get actress Eva Mendes to play the troubled singer, because if you saw how she looked on the set of her new movie Holly Motors (like in the one above), you would agree with me.
