Now this is something we'd never expect Kanye to do. While performing in his hometown at Chicago's United Center last night, the bitchy rapper took a moment of humility (his version of it) to address his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy not being nominated for Album of the Year.
“Something I figured out earlier today—because you know, everybody came to me last night like, ‘Congratulations!’ because you know I’m leading the Grammy nominations. Like we always do it at this time,” he said. “But, people focus, they say, ‘You ain’t have Album of the Year or Record of the Year.’ But I figured out though, that’s my fault for dropping Watch the Throne and Dark Fantasy the same year. I should have just spaced it out a little bit more. But don’t worry, because me and Hov gon’ keep on making shit.”
At least you have seven nominations. be grateful you have that because let's be real for a second - your latest album isn't your best work. It is good for once to see 'Ye take responsibility for his own faults, even though who cares you don't have a Record of the Year nom. These mainstream queens get so uptight over materialistic, irrelevant bullshit.
