After winning his battle with pneumonia, it looks like pop superstar George Michael may be heading him just in time for the holidays.
According to the UK Mirror, within the next few days the superstar singer is set to be discharged from the hospital in Austria where he has been treated for the past month. As soon as he is discharged Michael will head straight to London to enjoy Christmas Day with family and his boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, who along with George’s father Kyriacos Panayiotou, 75, and his sisters Melanie, 49, and Yioda, 53, have been by his bedside since the beginning.
George, 48, was rushed to a private hospital in Austria on November 20 after he fell ill at Vienna’s exclusive Imperial Hotel, where he was staying ahead of a concert. He was later diagnosed with severe pneumonia.
Said Fadi, 38, on Twitter: “Christmas at home. I cannot stop smiling today, the best day ever. He is getting better and better. Nothing to worry about, happy days.”
Even though 2011 was a year of such drama and dire times, this is definitely some great news in time for the holidays. Now get better GM so we can get that dance album you've been promising us.
