There may be a little something you may not know about me, and since I feel we're all such great friends, I'd like to share something with you all. I watch the Showtime reality series and guilty pleasure Gigolos like I watch Jersey Shore and The A-List, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels at times the show comes off like one of those scripted Skinemax movies, but whenever I'm watching those loud bitches pretending to take it from behind by the show's male hookers, I often wonder why hasn't Showtime created a gay version of this series? Or at least cast a few gays for good measure?
Anyways, word on the street is that gay porn star and bodybuilder Zeb Atlas will appear on the second season finale of Gigolos. “Zeb meets one of the gigolos in a Vegas bar and tells him all about being a gigolo for men,” notes talent manager David Forest. Please tell me the guy he meets is Nick (second pic above)
“Zeb does not go to see a client, but the show might just check that out if there is a third season.” He notes Atlas was cast specifically for this role. “Zeb has never before [revealed] that he does see men for money and, in fact, that he is the most famous male-for-male gigolo in the world.”
There are so many aspects of the gay world that would make for great television, not just the PC or stereotypical version of gays where A) We all want to get married, have kids and live like boring heterosexuals, or B) we work as hair/make-up/stylists/wedding planners and always want to make straights look good. I would most definitely welcome a gay version of Gigolos. Or at least a reality show with gay porn stars in it. I know it may be hard for so many to grasp, but there are some of us gays out there who are not ashamed of who we are and are unapologetic about our sexuality and who we sleep with.
