As some of you may have heard, besides her role in Tyler Perry's The Marriage Counselor, singer/actress Brandy will also guest star on the new season of The Game. Word on the street is that Ms. Norwood will play the love interest of Jason Pitts played by Colby Bell (Burn Notice). If you watched last season, Jason and Kelly (Brittany Daniel) were dealing with life after their divorce, and while Kelly will be off doing her own thing this season, Jason goes back to dating black women, which is where Brandy's no-nonsense bartender Chardonnay comes in.
No word on how long her role will last on the show, but I've got my fingers crossed it will last longer than her stint on 90210. Other guests that will stop by on the new season include: Selita eBanks, Nene Leakes, Loretta Devine, Estelle and DeRay Davis. I've been hearing rumblings that Chris Brown is supposed to be on the new season, but I'm not sure how true that is.
The last season was a bit uneven for me, since at times I couldn't tell if the show wanted to be a drama or a sitcom, so I'm hoping they found the proper balance this season.
