It was only a matter of time before Mrs. Eddie Long would come to her senses and get the courage to quit that bitch of a marriage. My question is what the hell took her so long? I guess it takes some embarrassed women to finally get up enough of their fuck you money to leave, but we all know that ain't the real reason. I would have said scorned, but I feel wives of men in power always know when their husbands step out on them. It's the public humilation that always brings the knowing to their knees.
So 15 months later after Bishop Long's scandality hit many church fans, his wife Vanessa released a statement saying that "[a]fter a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long."
As you all may be aware (or have easily forgotten in this microwave society in which we live), on September 2010, four young men came forward to accuse the mega church pastor and social conservative of showering them with many gifts including vacations, cars and money in exchange for sex, all statring at the ripe ol' age of 16.
"Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long," she said in an emailed statement bearing the New Birth logo. "I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage."
She went on to blame "years of attacks in the media" for her initial decision to seek a divorce.
Sorry boo, but the moment you heard your husband who has for years condemned homosexuality in his church was going around fucking multiple boys and preying on them because they lacked a visible father in the household you should have left his ass immediately. It should not take anyone a year and three months to come to the proper conclusion. I am sick of these idiots in power be they celebrities, politicians or money-hungry meca church owners crying that the media has ruined their little book of secrets. You need to take responsibility for your own actions and people who sexually abuse children need to be held accountable for their actions.
