I'm sure some of you may have already heard (that is if you actually pay attention to the silly shit I say on this blog), but I have been keeping you up to date on what's going down with Ciara's music career. Ever since her debut Goodies, her last three albums have failed to live up to the success of her debut. She was dropped from Jive Records and then snatched up by Epic. She's been seen quite a bit on the red carpet and on a few reality shows like Trying Not To Keep Up With the Kuntrashians and La La's Boring Ass Life on VH1. Now two songs have leaked on the internet and this is the first time since 2010's Basic Instinct that we've heard new music from CiCi.
I've always said that if there's any artist Ciara needs to model herself after it would be a cross between Aaliyah and Janet Jackson with a dash of Britney, and if these are some of the songs that she's working on under the guidance of L.A. Reid, then she's on the right track.
