Out of all the castmates on Jersey Shore, the only one with an actual talent is the very sexy Pauly D. Before he signed on to the hugely popular MTV reality show, he was a well known DJ around his native Rhode Island, and has been spinning records since he was a teenager. Now with all the success of the series, Pauly has gotten to enjoy many successes, such as traveling the world as an opening act with Nicki Minaj on Britney Spears' Femme Fatale tour, and hanging out with some of the biggest celebrities in the game.
There were rumblings earlier this year that he was in talks to join 50's label, and now it's become official. The "Jersey Shore" reality star has inked a deal with 50 Cent's G-Note Records.
According to the Associated Press, Pauly D signed on the dotted line on December 1, an arm of his G-Unit empire which focuses solely on dance and pop music.
50 Cent said Pauly D was a "great addition to G-Note and G-Unit family" and called him smart and creative.
I will also go on the record to say that out of all the other stars on the show, I'm the most proud of Pauly's success. Hopefully his major label career won't flatline like Olivia's and the rest of them other flops from Fiddy's hip hop imprint. I hope all the magic was captured for his reality show, that is if they've started filming it.
