TRAILER TRASH: 21 JUMP STREET

OK here's the thing. When I was little, 21 Jump Street was one of those shows that I grew up on and watched religiously. It launched the careers of celebs such as Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Peete. So when I heard they were making the hit 80's series about young cops who pose as high school students, I can't say I was pretty excited over this happening. I mean for every Brady Bunch movie there's The Honeymooners. Also it didn't help that a newly skinny Jonah Hill, who looks like walking uncircumsized foreskin and Channing Tatum are totally miscast in this film. Oh and Ice Cube is in it too as a police captain. Sorry to tell you, but I have a feeling this is going to be the worst adaptation of a TV show since The Green Hornet, and you can't tell me Seth Rogan was perfectly cast as a romantic action lead.
