T.I. SAYS GAYS HAVE BECOME OVERSENSITIVE WHEN IT COMES TO HOMOPHOBIA

Rapper T.I., who has a new reality show premiering on VH1 next month sat down with Vibe for an interview and talked about a plethora of topics, and gave his opinion on Tracy Morgan's I Need to Apologize to all the Gays in Hollywood I Offended So That I can Continue to Reap My NBC Checks tour

Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, ‘C’mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a dick, you can take a joke.’ [Cracks up laughing.] That shit was funny to me. And it’s kind of true.’

T.I. did go on to say that he has no problem with gay people (well when you've spent half your lafe in and out of prison and you have a wife that looks like the crack of Amanda Lepore's bleached anus you better not have an issue with gays) he feels gays have become oversensitive whenever people make jokes that some would deem homophobic and says it violates their first amendment rights. “They’re like,‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ ... That’s not American. If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.’

I know gay rights activists will be demanding in a matter of time that T.I. to apologize for his comment, I have to say he's absolutely right. The more the LGBT community moves towards worldwide acceptance, the more we've become PC nazis. As an out and proud gay man, i love extremely offensive jokes, but only if they're actually funny. If Tracy went on a Michael Richards-esque rant I can see the need to apologize, but if it comes down to GLAAD and other organizations dictating what is appropriate and inappropriate to say in public, it becomes a problem for artists to express themselves. Comedy is supposed to ruffle feathers and be offensive. The difference with what Tracy said was that he would stab his son if he found out he were gay. First of all, Tracy Morgan is not funny as a comedian. I find his voice to be annoying, and my brand of comedy falls more towards the crude like Lisa Lampanelli, Margaret Cho, Jeffrey Ross, Gilbert Gottfried and Kathy Griffin. When you promote violence towards gays, which I've been seeing broadcasted on many gay blogs, I can't co-sign with T.I. on defending Tracy Morgan.
