SINGER GEORGE MICHAEL'S BOUT WITH PNEUMONIA TAKES A TURN FOR THE WORSE

Singer George Michael, 48, was hospitalized in Austria after suffering from  a case of severe pneumonia. Now The Vienna Times is claiming that his condition has taken a turn for the worse:

Doctors treating singer George Michael on the 13th floor of the Vienna AKH general hospital say his condition has worsened overnight ... He was taken by ambulance to the city's top Rudolfiner private hospital in the 19th district of the city, where a decision was taken to move him to the main general hospital - the AKH.


The hospital refused to say why the star was moved but it is believed it was decided that the singer's condition was so acute that it would be better if he was moved to the AKH - the biggest in Europe and where many of the continent's top medical experts are based because of the advanced facilities it offers for research as well as treatment.


... [Michael] is currently in intensive care on the 13th floor of the red tower as a result of heart problems believed to be caused by the shortage of oxygen caused by his pneumonia.


On Thursday afternoon he was fitted into a special full-body bed designed to keep all the pressure off his lungs and to help them to function - so far without any sign of improvement.

I've been having a hard time wrapping my head around this, because it wasn't too long ago I saw photos of him canoodling with his new piece, Cazzo porn star Isaac Mazar (the one getting blown for those who have no idea who Isaac is), I'm really hoping and praying that Michael makes it through stringer than ever, because not only would I love for him to finish his Symphonica tour (in which he has 14 dates left), but I am looking forward to what he will bring to his new dance album which was to feature openly gay artists as collaborators.

Update: George Michael's boyfriend Lebanese-born celebrity stylist Fadi Fawaz (aka former porn star Isaac Mazar) spoke to the press on Sunday and is claiming that the pop singer is doing better even though he is still in intensive care with pneumonia.

Here is Fadi told the Daily Star exclusively from Vienna, Austria.

Asked if George, 48, was going to die, he said: “No. He is improving every day.

George, who is a self-confessed heavy cannabis smoker and used to get through 25 spliffs a day, is struggling to breathe. But Fadi insists that GM, who is strapped to a £500,000 tilting bed to help with his breathing at the AKH hospital is doing better

“There is nothing to be concerned about. He is doing fine. We are very happy. He is doing extremely well and coming back from everything. We are very pleased.”


Maybe this is a case of Fadi trying to come across more positive than George's actual condition, but as I stated before, I am praying that GM gets better very soon. We don't need another amazing singer and performer gone before his time.
