Whenever it comes to rumors in regards to making music and such, there's always that thing where I prefer to hear it from the horses mouth before I state it as fact. So how excited was I when I discovered M.I.A. officially announcing that she is indeed heading to New York City to collaborate with Madonna on her 12th album.

There's no word if her verse will appear on the finished version of already leaked first single Give Me All Your Love, or on a future single (my guess is the former since M.I.A. and Nicki are supposed to perform alongside the Queen of Pop during the Super Bowl Half Time), but while I love the fact that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. are working with Madonna, I still prefer M-Dolla as a stand alone artist when she's not desperately trying to jump on the youth bandwagon to sell records. I just pray their collaboration will not be as weak as her collabos with Justin Timberlake on her Hard Candy album.
Spring, 2012 can't get her fast enough.
