MADONNA'S MANAGER ADDRESSES "GIVE ME ALL YOUR LOVE" LEAK
24 hours after a demo leaked of Madonna's new single Give Me All Your Love leaked on the internet, the singer's longtime manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter to address the leak as well as answer some fan questions.
On the single leak:
The plan was for new music to come out in the new year… and yet someone leaked a demo version of a song yesterday..Im very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!! we are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks.. we have a lot in store for you.. but please respect the process..madonna told me this morning “my true fans wouldn’t do this”… whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!..
He also confirmed a few rumors regarding songs that fans are speculating will be on the new album:
+ Confirmed the album is not finished (but will be within the next month, as producer William Orbit also confirmed on his Facebook page).
+ Confirmed that the tracks floating around called “Dirty Liar” and “Love On Fire” are not Madonna demos.
+ Confirmed a “beautiful ballad” was written for Madge’s new movie, W.E.
+ Confirmed photos for the campaign have not yet been shot.
+ Confirmed that M will be appearing at the Smirnoff dance-off this Saturday at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC.
So basically he confirmed all the things we did know, but wouldn't elaborate more on what we can expect from the new album. I knew the version we heard of Give Me All Your Love was an early dreft of a demo, so even though that version was ok, I can't wait to hear the finished product. As for Dirty Liar and Love on Fire, i knew those weren't Madonna demos either, because like i have said a gazillion times - if she's co-writing songs with Jean Baptiste Koame, who co-wrote some amazing dance songs for Kelis' Flesh Tone album, and Madonna is collaborating with Benny Benassi, William Orbit and Martin Solveig, she's not going to give you some half-assed, outdated bullshit. I know some of you will say "but what about Hard Candy?" And my answer to that is that was her last full hurrah to Warner Bros. because she couldn't wait to get off that label who weren't really pushing her music where it needed to be. I always say "never count out an innovator."
