LADY GAGA BEHEADS LONGTIME CHOREOGRAPHER LAURIEANN GIBSON

Metaphorically speaking, of course. According to Mediatakeout.com (lord forgive me for using them as a source), Lady Gaga and longtime choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson had it out over the phone after Gibson heard that La Germanotta was planning on replacing her with some fresh meat, which pushed Gibson over the edge (not of glory). The unidentified source claims (isn't there always one?) that Gaga is pissed by what Gibson said in the media a few weeks ago, and I'm guessing all the obvious Madonna comparisons are getting to her.

“Listen, [Madonna] should be bitter because I [made Lady Gaga in her image] on purpose and you can quote me. I did it on purpose because for all those kids who believe that you can’t, I wanted to let them feel that you can.”
As we all know, Gibson has been with Gaga since the very beginning of her career, and all her signature moves are courtesy of Gibson. But Gaga can't be mad that people aren't stupid enough to not notice the Madonna comparisons. You can't blame Gibson for Born This Way sounding like Express Yourself. You were in the studio writing and co-producing the track. Gibson was honest enough to say what the rest of us was thinking. But when you bite the hand that feeds you, be prepared to starve. I should also point out that this isn't the first time LaurieAnn has been fired by a high-profile client. She was chopped on national TV by another well known industry diva, the one and only Diddy on the Danity Kane/Day 26 season of Making The Band. Since then, Gaga was Gibson's biggest client, and now all she has to fall back on is her reality show The Dance Scene on E! and her other dance show on BET. If you can't snatch another client as big as Gaga, LaurieAnn can always go back to So You Think You Can Dance.

As for Gaga, I would love for her to go back to The Fame era when she was fun and hungry, then maybe I cwould like her again. I feel at times she's been bitten by the fame monster as well, and maybe it's time to inject some fresh blood and ideas into your music and dancing. or better yet, move around the stage, sing, and leave the dancing to the professionals. I am wondering if this story is in fact true, who will replace LaurieAnn? I say make my future husband and lead dancer Mark Kanemura (above) your new choreographer, that is if he's up to it. In the meantime, check out Gaga's headless performance of Marry The Night on X-Factor below...
