DIRECTOR STEVEN SODERBERG WANTS FULL FRONTAL NUDITY IN MAGIC MIKE FILM

With all the hype surrounding director Steven Soderberg's new stripper film Magic Mike (which is based on actor Channing Tatum's pre-acting years as a stripper), the director is about to answer many of our prayers because he says he wants Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer Adam Rodriguez and Joe Manganiello naked, peen and all.
The minute I heard they were making the male version of Showgirls, I rolled my eyes to the fact that I knew they were going to Disneyfy the film because you know how nervous uptight, closeted film execs get over male nudity on the big screen. Well now that the director wants full on dick swinging choreography in the movie, you know I will be there on opening night. Even better if Magic Mike has some of the same laughably bitchy dialogue as Showgirls, which is my generations' All About Eve. It will be interesting to see if Steven Soderberg can get away with the frontal nudity from the censors, who will probably give it an NC-17, but being that Soderberg is a director that takes chances (the movie he did not too long ago with porn star Sasha Grey in the lead comes to mind), I'm starting to believe in this film a little more.
