CALLE 13 WIN BIG; USHER, ROMEO SANTOS, WISIN Y YANDEL & MORE TEAR THE ROOF OFF AT THE LATIN GRAMMY'S

Besides one of my favorite political Reggaeton groups Calle 13 making history by sweeping the 12th Annual Latin Grammy's last night in Las Vegas with a whopping 9 wins, they also tore the roof off when they hit the stage last night as well.

Says Rene "Residente" Perez of Calle 13 of their multiple wins: "I want to dedicate this prize to all of Latin America," said Perez. "Que viva la musica and Latino America." Perez also added, "no to payola," the industry term for payments by promoters to radio stations to play music.

Perez dedicated one of their wins "to those who don't sell out and make real music," and upon winning another said, "long live true music."

Hosted by singer/actress Lucero and actor Cristian de la Fuente, the evening also included performances by Daddy Yankee who performed his latest single Lovumba on a Las Vegas rooftop, Marco Antonio Solis, Romeo & Usher performed the latter's Rico Love-produced hit Promise, the very busy Pitbull brought the fuego with single Rain Over Me with a little help from Marc Anthony and a dozen dancers, Colombian superstar Shakira who was this year's person of the year, and Sean Kingston made his first live appearance since his jet ski accident by performing his single Fire Burning and Fever, his collaboration with Wisin Y Yandel.

Check out some of the performances below and for the complete list of winners, head over to latingrammy.com
