I am a huge fan of Bravo's cooking competition series Top Chef. As for their spin-offs Top Chef: All Stars and Top Chef: Just Desserts, not so much. Speaking of the latter, one of the contestants from Just Desserts first season Morgan Wilson (who although came in second was one of the most hated on the show) has been put in handcuffs and indicted on three charges of child pornography, possession with intent to promote child pornography which is a second-degree felony. The minute I heard about a Top Chef contestant wrapped up in a child pornography charge, I swear on everything I love that I immediately thought of Morgan because I remember on the show he talked about his son quite a bit, and I always got a gay vibe from him. I'm not equating gays with child molestation (because most pedophiles are straight), but those who have a strong gaydar knows we can pick out our own people in a line-up.
Dallas newspaper Pegasus News is reporting that the Bravolebrity was arrested shortly after the filming of the show after police received three photos transferred by Wilson, from his computer containing child pornography. In December of last year, he was booked for sending undercover investigators videos and photos of children and toddlers engaging in sexual acts. In September of this year, he admitted that he had viewed the images he sent and the images went into further investigation with the FBI.
Wilson was released shortly after his arrest on a $10,000 bail bond and the promise that he would not have access to a computer without monitoring software. Morgan Wilson will face the music in front of a judge on October 27th.
