SINGERS CONFIRMED TO PERFORM AT THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS
A few weeks back I brought you the nominees for the upcoming American Music Awards, which, like the current pop charts look like a straight bore. But what I was really hoping for was an interesting plethora of live performances and so far the list is just blah! Scheduled to perform are Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, and Katy Perry. I'm sure with Lady Gaga and Adele up for multiple nominations they'll beg to get something out of them and hype it up for ratings, especially Lady Gaga, whose sole existance is based on a lie.
The only one I know will bring an ounce of sophistication is Mary J, but otherwise I could give a shit about the rest of the scheduled performances except for maybe Xtina not for her oversinging but for how hot of a mess she will look. The industry puts millions behind these artists and they always leave me wanting to put my head through a wall with their subpar performances. Now the question remains how long before they get Rihanna to sign on the line to perform since she has her new album Talk That Talk coming out around the same time the AMA's are supposed to air. A live performance is written in the manufactured cards. The American Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on November 20.
