KELLY ROWLAND'S LAY IT ON ME VIDEO AT THE CENTER OF PLAGARISM CONTROVERSY

Beyonce isn't the only child of destiny caught up in a music video plagarism scandal. While she's busy snatching controversies in regards to her alleged fake pregnancy and stealing concepts from a Belgian choreographer for her Countdown video, Kelly Rowland has been accused of doing the same.

The singer released her new music video for Lay It On Me yesterday, and in less than 24 hours the blogs lit up in sheer blasphemy over some similarities with her video and another artist by the name of Livvi Franc.

Franc, who had a huge club hit back in 2009 called Now I'm That Bitch and has written songs for artists such as Britney Spears released a video with some scenes in it similar to what was spotted in Rowland's video: She sings in front of moving fabric, she stands naked between two strips of latex barely covering her goodies and she works it on top of the same man-made day bed as Kelly Rowland. Both women are in control in their videos. Kelly’s just has more sex appeal.

The difference between Kelly Rowland stealing ideas and Beyonce stealing ideas is that this may not be Rowland's fault. Both videos were directed by Sarah Chatfield. So what I'm thinking is, Chatfield lazily tried to get slick and recycle some scenes from a lesser-known artist and give it to someone with a larger fan base which happens far more often than we realize when it comes to the industry stealing from lesser-known artists and giving the final product to someone more popular. They tried that shit when Beyonce ripped off a segment from Kylie Minogue's Fever tour for her Get Me Bodied live routine. But people need to realize one thing - when it comes to mainstream audiences, they follow what they are told, so they don't know any better. Just because there are some artists who are not willing to sell their souls for a Beyonce-sized career doesn't mean you have the right to pull he wool over the eyes of music and video consumers who only know the music of the five artists that are shoved down our throats every three seconds.

Check out both videos below and judge for yourself.
