Ever since they limited openly gay tennis player Teddy's (Trevor Donovan) appearances to minimal and the fact that none of the bitchiness of past seasons is on display in the new season, 90210 is starting to become one of the most boring nighttime soaps on TV. Hell, even Brandy playing a politician is not giving me the fever that I need (her role is clearly wasting Brandy's talent as an actress). There's more drama coming out of Sarah Michelle Gellar's hair extentions on an episode of Ringer than on this entire season of 90210. But I will say the only reason I am sticking it out is because A) I've already invested three seasons into the reboot B) I can't get enough of AnnaLynne McCord (who is single-handedly saving this show from a disaster) and C) Liam becoming a shirtless male model and the new addition of country boy Austin's got my pot licker coolin'. Anyways, maybe this bit of news will spruce things up.
Word on the street is that former America's Next Top Model judge and Celebrity Rehab alum Janice Dickinson will be playing herself in an episode during November sweeps. Since she was a supermodel and briefly had a reality show on where she launched her own modeling agency, At first I thought her scenes would be with Liam (Matt Lanter), but she will be judging a student university fashion competition. Also set to guest star on future episodes - Billy Ray Cyrus and Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino, who has been trying to make small transitions into acting. American Idol alum Kellie Pickler was on last week's episode.
It would have been nice to see Janice as a judge once again on America's Next Top Model (Andre Leon Talley and his muumuus are not doing it for me), but she's burned so many bridges with Tyra in the past it's a damn shame. We definitely need Janice back on TV in some form, and the time is now.
