BREAKING NEWS: TAYLOR LAUTNER IS NOT GAY
Twilight and Abduction star Taylor Lautner, who recently glammed it up for GQ Australia was asked about his personal life, inclusind those infamous gay rumors.
"[My publicist] Liz [Mahoney] says I don't talk about my personal life," he told the magazine when asked about a rumoured split from his Abduction costar Lily Collins.
The mag then asked Taylor if he likes to take a swim in the man pond, after he was spotted dining with filmmaker Gus Van Sant and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, both who are openly gay.
"No, definitely not," Hollywood's highest paid teen said when asked whether either Van Sant or Black made a pass. "I think they know I'm straight. But they're great guys. They're a lot of fun." Adding rather blandly: "It's not a coincidence that there was a writer, a director and an actor at dinner."
What irritates me about reading this is not Lautner's response, which was quite hilarious, since it was obvious that they were meeting to collaborate on a future film, but the way GQ went about it. I can't tell you how many times I find it annoying when people especially in liberal media are still ignorant to think that all gay men go after every guy that isn't nailed down. This may be harder for some of you breeders to believe, but there are some of us gay men out there that have standards as to who we chase, and not all of us are into straight guys or as some of you think "turning you out." You can't make someone do what they aren't willing to do.
