Madonna was recently asked what she thinks of Lady Gaga and the response from critics, who say that the new pop singer has been taking too many pages from her 90's musical playbook and xeroxing them for her own financial gain and world dominance.

Speaking of Lady Gaga, I have no comments about her obsessions related to me, because I don’t know if they are based on something profound or superficial.

This answer sounds a shade shady but encrypted at the same time, but maybe Madonna learned her lesson after getting caught making a bitchy comment in regards to the type of flowers a fan gave her at a W.E. press conference. I should also point out that she's not the only one that can't tell if Gaga takes a lot from Madonna as a way to page homage, or if she's just being a plain old uninspired thief.
