Roisin Murphy: Christophe Coppens ‘Women Of The Fields’ Spring/Summer 2012 Video ft. New Song ‘Cré Ni A Forna’

The always amazing Roisin Murphy has finally returned to the music scene with a bizarre, kaleidoscopic new music video called Women Of The Fields, which was created for fashion designer Christophe Coppens Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Also no one does a scarecrow outfit quite like Roisin, who I live for when it comes to her avant-garde keen sense of fashion (especially the lobster look she donned back when she released her music video for Movie Star). The new tune you hear as the video plays is a tack called Cré Ni A Forna, which if I'm not mistaken was created specifically for the campaign. I love artists who try their hand at different things and don't need to pull attention-getting stunts to be noticed. I'm just looking forward to some new music from Ro who has been keeping me waiting long enough. Now let's begin the countdown to how long before Gaga copies this?
