Actor Colin Salmon (Punisher: War Zone, Single Ladies), who starred in the first Resident Evil movie as "One" recently tweeted that he will reunite with Milla Jovovich in the new Resident Evil: Retribution movie.
"Confirmed I will be shooting new Resident Evil movie. Paul Anderson has written an amazing script."
So far on board besides Jovovich and Salmon is Sienna Guillory who if you have been following this blog knows she has officially signed on to reprise her iconic role as Jill Valentine after appearing briefly during the closing credits of Resident Evil: Afterlife. As for the rest of the cast, I have no idea what's up with the characters of Claire & Chris Redfield, Luther and K Mart, but we know that Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Barry will all be in the new movie so what I am guessing is that we will be taking a look deeper inside the Umbrella Corporation. It seems writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson is taking it back to basics, so it makes sense why some of the familiar faces from the game will be showing up in the movie. I'm also guessing since One was cut into pieces in the first movie, he'll be in a series of flashbacks. Production on Retribution began early this month in Toronto.
