Lauryn Hill, 36, who has been a hot emotional mess since her bizarre Unplugged performance almost a decade ago has been accused by a former fashion consultant of stealing clothes and skipping out on part of her bill.
According to TMZ, a lawsuit was filed in L.A. Superior Court, the clothes were provided for Hill by fashion consultant company Via Davia Vintage for a tour she did in 2007 and the singer allegedly walked away with a "wardrobe of high fashion items." The singer agreed to pay the company a set fee for four weeks, but the lawsuit claims she paid only 30% of the fees and held on to the expensive items for three months.
"[She] exhibited the type of behavior for which she had gained public notoriety which contributed to a hostile work environment," Gore said in court documents. "At one point, Hill made a statement in front of the tour personnel to the effect that 'I can't believe I am paying you fools, you should be paying me.'"
Wardrobe drama isn't the only thing Ms. Hill has to worry about. In August, guitarist Jay Gore sued the singer for $20,000 for fees he says he was not paid for touring with her in Europe. Gore also claims he as well as other musicians were mistreated while on the tour.
Hill's reps have yet to comment, but the singer who hasn't released a proper album since 1998 seriously needs to have her tubes ripped from her snatch and get it together with her music career because she is a hot orange alert mess.
