We've seen a couple of glimpses into the world of drag with the popular Rupaul's Drag Race on LOGO, and the hit web series Queens of Drag. Now the District of Columbia is the latest city to jump on the drag bandwagon with their new reality series Drag Ciry: DC, which gives us an in-depth behind-the-scenes look into the stage persona and personal lives of Shi-Queeta-Lee, Chanel Devereaux, Tyria Iman, Lacountress Farrington, Epiphany Bloomingdale, and Raquel Savage. I like the fact that we really get to dig deep into what it takes for some who live for doing drag as a career and not have it be unnecessarily catty and competitive like what you see on Drag Race. Not that I don't live for the drama, but it's nice to get something positive and real in my reality for once. Check out the first episode below...
