After getting dropped from Simon Cowell's label due to poor sales, X Factor and Pop Star to Operastar winner Joe McElderry was snatched up by Decca/Universal Records where he immediately went to work on his sophomore. The results turned into a brand new album called "Classic" on August 22 in the U.K. and August 23 in the U.S. The album will feature Joe covering some well-known classics such as Luther Vandross' Dance With My Father and the opera classic Nessun Dorma, which is wildly remembered for it's brilliant cover by the legendary Aretha Franklin at the Grammy's a few years back.
