In the video below, super producer Pharrell Williams opens up in a YouTube vid about working on Mary J. Blige's new album My Life II: The Journey Continues, the sequel to Mary's 1994 sophomore album.
In the beginning of the video you get producers Jermaine Dupri and B. Cox acting silly in their rental car on their way to a session with Blige. If you don't care to hear all the banter between J.D. and Brian, fast forward to the 6:50 mark for Pharrell and Mary. Mary's new album, which features production from J.D., Rico Love, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, songwriter Andrea Martin and a appearance from Nicki Minaj on Feel Inside will be in stores this September.
