R.I.P. LOPEZ TONIGHT

After two years of struggling in the ratings (as well as getting the same promotional push as fellow contemporary Conan O' Brien), TBS has opted to cancel Lopez Tonight. The network came to the difficult decision yesterday ans stated that his final episode will air tonight. His late night talk show did okay in it's original 11 pm time slot back in 2009, but when Conan signed on to TBS in November of last year and took over his old time slot (which I believe the execs over at TBS made him give up), George to a significant dip in the ratings (so far an average of 500,000 viewers watch his show) which eventually resorted in his cancellation.

Damn when Chelsea Handler has more viewers than you, and to me she's not even funny it's time for your show to sashay away. I only watched George's show based on the guests because his opening monologue was unfunny and the skits he tried to incorporate were even worse. Good luck on what other avenues to plan to take because the whole late night shtick wasn't working.
