The new season of Dancing With the Stars doesn't begin until next month, and the rumor mill is alive with who will be joining the new season. According to TMZ, singer, actress and Single Ladies Executive Producer Queen Latifah is close to signing on to shake her shimmy on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.
Usually when I watch a show like DWTS it's always got contestants who are washed up and are on the show for a career revival, and Latifah to me has always had a steady career in movies, music, and television. So if she does sign on to dance next season I see her doing it as a way to challenge herself into doing something different (and burning off the calories like Kirstie Alley) rather than trying to revive her career.
It's also rumored that Rob Kardashian, Snooki and White Collar star Tiffani Thiessen are possibly on the new season as well, but until it's official word (and TMZ are usually spot on with their reports), I'm not going to put my official stamp on this one. But it is good to speculate.
