PHYSICAL ABUSE ACCUSATIONS; MORE DRAMA HEATS UP ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was all set to premiere on Monday, September 5, but after house husband Russell Armstrong's suicide, Bravo is rethinking things.
First things first: TMZ is reporting that Bravo will not film the funeral and has said they are not sure if they will feature any footage of Taylor's estranged husband due to the fact that they don't want to push the envelope. Bravo grows a conscience? Well that's new.
As reported Armstrong, estranged husband of housewife Taylor was found dead of an apparent suicide on Monday. After five years of marriage, Taylor had filed for divorce back in July and word on the street is that she confided in cast mates Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards that Russell beat her so severely before season 2 cameras rolled that she ended up in the hospital. Now that Russell has killed himself (the show wrapped long before this happened), Bravo is postponing the premiere for about a week, although I've also been hearing that the delay might last a bit longer.
My thing is this: If Bravo prides itself on it's reality TV programming (which, let's face it has made Andy Cohen a very rich man) I say why not show us everything warts and all. I mean when I got a peek at the new season last month, I didn't see anything worth crying home about that would draw me into a full investment of the new season. My faves are New York, New Jersey and Atlanta, and from the looks of things Beverly Hills looked about as interesting as the Miami spin-off. I say if there's a way to add more drama to the new season, lets get those cameras in Taylor's house and see if she can get some tears to pass through her heavily botoxed
eye ducts. Bravo ain't never shied away from some drama and I don't see why you all would start now.
