It's been almost a month since Madonna's been hard at work laying down tracks for her untitled new album, and there's been some pretty nifty news leaking out about the project as of late. We already know that she's been working with French producer Martin Solvieg on a few dance tracks, but now 80's icon Boy George let the cat out of the bag on Twitter that Madonna has reunited with William Orbit on the album as well.
As most die-hard Madonnaphiles know, Orbit is responsible for not only giving the pop singer the best reviews of her career for their collaboration on her Ray of Light album, but it was also the album that won her a Grammy. But then again, since stills from her new film W.E. (which she directed) have leaked there were rumors that Orbit would be working on the soundtrack. My gut is telling me they are working on music for her new album and if she decides to use them, I will be beyond stoked. When she worked with Orbit and Mirwais they on Ray of Light, Music and American Life (the latter being her most underrated album) created some of the most innovative, fun electronic music I've heard in years and since all these new pop singers are trying to rehash 90's dance music (not well I might add), who else better to show these bitches how it's really done than Madonna?
In the meantime while we all wait to hear what magic Martin and Madonna are creating in the studio, check out a mash up of their songs Music and Hello called Hello Mr. DJ below. Oh and if Madonna calls, I'm not heeeyah!
