It looks like the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is about to trump all the crazy drama of all the franchises, because TMZ is reporting that businessman Russell Armstrong, estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has committed suicide.
Armstrong, 47, whose split with wife Taylor will be chronicled in the upcoming second season of the hit reality series was found hanging in his bedroom. No suicide note was found. For those who watched the show, we were well aware of Russell always off dealing with his business endeavors and whenever he was home, he spent most of the time belittling his wife which may have played a big part in their split. Maybe the stresses of work may have played into his suicide, but I'm sure we will find out more as this develops.
Who I feel bad for is their five-year-old daughter Kennedy, who will not only grow up without a father, but with her mother being a reality star it may be a lot for a kid to deal with especially if they are in school.
Update: Taylor Armstrong has issued a statement:
“Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded,” it says. “She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter. Her thoughts and prayers are also with Russell’s 11 and 13 year old sons.”
