GEORGE MICHAEL WILL COLLABORATE WITH GAY AND GAY FRIENDLY ARTISTS ON NEW DANCE ALBUM

Pop legend George Michael, who has been known as of late for his drug-induced antics rather than his music, has revealed a bit more about his upcoming dance album.

Here's what he told NME magazine:

“For this album I’m going to be working with either gay or gay friendly artists, and it’ll be a mixture of tracks sung by me and others by young gay artists – possibly unknown ones. And I’ve lined up some really great dance producers to work on it too, so it’ll be a pretty stunning record.”
“I’ll be 48 when the album comes out, but I have to say that gay men’s relationship with dance music probably doesn’t end at the same time as straight people’s does!”

I'm glad George is coming out with a dance album and will work with not only openly gay artists but people who actually have a divine love for the community (and not just our disposable income). Straight people's relationship with dance will end within the next year, while our love never dies for it because we don't look at dance music as some sort of get rich quick trend. I liked the few dance tracks he had on his Patience album. let's hope the new stuff has as much bite as his 80's classics. Also can't find out who he will decide to work with as producers for the new album.
