There's been quite a few alleged duets floating around the blogosphere as to Lady Gaga collaborating with a few of our favorite pop legends (Madonna was one rumor, but the only one confirmed is Cher for the latter's upcoming new album). Now comes word that Britney Spears and Lady Gaga may be joining forces to create one of the biggest pop gems since her Me Against The Music duet with Gaga's #1 go-to artist for stealing ideas, the legendary M-Dolla.
Apparently the idea for the duet stemmed after Gaga came to see Britbot perform her Femme Fatale concert in New Jersey and the two met afterwards for an hour to discuss a possible collaboration. If you all remember, Gaga originally wrote her hit Telephone feat. Beyonce for Spears, but when the pop tart didn't use it on her last album, Gaga used it instead. If this rumor does in fact become fact, I'm sure it will most likely end up on a Gaga or Britney re-release.
