BRANDY SIGNS MAJOR LABEL DEAL WITH RCA

R&B legend Brandy has determined that this year will be the year where she goes hard or goes home, and the bitch wasn't playing when she made that vow. Not only can we expect to see a whole new side of her in her upcoming new docu-series, but the Grammy winner, who is currently working on her sixth album has just inked a new record deal with RCA/Chameleon Records. It's her first new deal since dropping her last album Human on Epic Records (which was the biggest flop of her career).

Breyon Prescott, CEO of Chameleon Records said, “Brandy is an icon who changed the sound of R&B music, I’m proud to say she has signed with RCA/Chameleon Records to take her to the next phase of her career. She’s a blessing and music needs her again.”

Brandy also revealed how ecstatic she was in regards to her new deal. “This is truly a blessing,” she said. “Breyon Prescott, Peter Edge, and Tom Corson believe in me and have introduced me to a home that also believes and knows exactly what to do with the type of music I’m doing. Breyon and the team at RCA/Chameleon are creative and forward-thinking and I am thrilled to be working with them.”

I'm just excited my girl is back on track and is about to change the face or R&B once again (something Kelly Rowland failed to do with her latest trash box record) and since every R&B singer with no mind of their own are jumping on the dance bandwagon to save what's left of their careers, the lane has been left wide open for Brandy to change the game once again.

Brandy will release her new album in early 2012.
