It seems the upcoming two seasons of Jersey Shore is going to be filled with lots of drama. While we're waiting with anticipation for Season 4 to premiere in August so we can witness the fight between Situation and Ronnie, as well as Snooki's minor car accident, it looks like one of the cast members has quit the series for good.
The cast is currently back in Seaside Heights filming what is said to be the show's fifth and possibly last season, and TMZ is reporting that shooting two seasons back to back (season 4 was shot in Italy) left Vinny Guadagnino feeling "burned out" and felt homesick. He left the show to return to Staten Island and as of this posting he has not returned to the show.
TMZ also says that he threatened to leave the house a few days before making the final decision to leave, but his roommates were able to talk him down from the ledge. As you can see that didn't last long. There's also rumors that the reason behind his leaving was due to him fighting with another cast member, but that has not been confirmed.
Sources are also reporting that Vinny was a pain in the ass on the show and like Angelina, no one will be begging him to return to the Shore house. Multiple media outlets have reached out to the show's executive producer Sally Ann Salsano, who refused to comment on the behind-the-scenes antics of the show. With rumors flying that the fifth season will be the end of the series due to the overwhelming amounts of money the cast continues to ask for every time there's a contract negotiation, maybe it's best Vinny goes out while he's still on top. The only way we'll find out the entire story is when we watch the final season which I'm sure MTV will stretch out until 2012. I will keep you posted as this story develops.
