Here's some interesting news. A few months back Fab Morvan, one half of the late 80's controversial pop duo Milli Vanilli was on The View talking about how he's trying to make a comeback into the music induatry. Apparently he wasn't bullshitting, because there's word that DJ Tiësto and producer/Eminem's tour DJ The Alchemist have signed on to provide the singer with some beats. Alchemist confirmed the rumors recently in an interview with TMZ.
While Milli Vanilli had some huge hits such as Girl You Know It's True and Baby Don't Forget My Number (I remember growing up as a kid in Brooklyn all you heard people blasting was Milli Vanilli and Soul II Soul records), the duo did receive some well-deserved criticism after it was revealed that they were making a living lip-synching to someone else's vocals. Milli, aka Rob Pilatus didn't fare so well when he was found dead in a hotel room in Germany from an apparent prescription drug and alcohol overdose.He was 32. When Fab appeared on The View not too long ago and the ladies asked him to sing a song a Capella, he actually had a pretty nice voice. It kind of makes you wonder what the producers who created this monster were thinking back in the day? Working with a hit Euro dance DJ like Tiesto and an underground producer such as The Alchemist might make for a quite interesting collaboration.
