It seems the pending divorce between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony is getting messier than Parisite Hilton in the middle of a herpes-infested circle jerk. While there have been many different stories coming out in regards as to why their marriage has crumbled faster than Rebecca Black's entire YouTube career, Us Weekly is reporting that in 2009 the duo came close to parting ways after Marc, 42 allegedly cheated with a flight attendant he met aboard a private plane. Wasn't J Lo pregnant with those twins two years ago?
Rumors did fly this week that J Lo may have cheated with her I'm Into You love interest William Levy, but as of now there's no truth to that story (since both have denied such accusations).
"Marc and Jennifer almost split up over it," the source tells Us of the couple, parents to 3-year-old twins Emme and Max.
Seconds another insider: "Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay. They went to marriage counseling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved."
It should come as no surprise being that Marc is an old school Puerto Rican male from New York City that he would be jealous of Jennifer's career and the fact that he would often want her to tone down her sexy sense of fashion and wanted to be a part of every business endeavor. Need proof? He was always on the set of American Idol giving the kids stage performance advice (you can't tell me J Lo's influence didn't get mark the job), are set to launch a duo clothing line and the couple are even planning to launch a new singing competition series Que Viva in the fall. US Weekly is also claiming Marc became extremely paranoid whenever he saw his wife around other men, which may have been the final straw to break the camel's back that held together their seven-year marriage.
There's also word that things go so heated between J Lo and Marc that in an attempt to save the marriage, J Lo's mother Guadalupe (aka G Lo) phoned the original Bennifer (as in Jen's ex-fiancee Ben Affleck) to ask for marriage advice.
"Guadalupe reached out to Ben over email. She wanted advice for Jennifer. She always liked and trusted him. [Ben] replied back on email, wished her well and offered what he could."
That part I don't believe because what self-respecting mother would call up Ben to ask for marriage advice on her daughter's current situation? Isn't he allegedly having some issues with his other Jennifer (as in Garner - that is if you believe what you read in the tabloids).
It should come as no surprise that J Lo has the worst track record when it comes to her taste in men (Diddy, Cris Judd aka the original K Fed, Ojani Noa) so what Jen needs to do is take some time with her two children, throw some holy water on that Gollum-looking husband of her's who just won't go into the light and work on fully concentrating on reviving her career. That would be leave that shitty, corny ass American Idol show alone get back into making some serious movies (like you character Karen Sisco in one of my favorite movies Out Of Sight) and do a few live tour dates to promote your latest album.
