FIRST LOOK: COLIN FARRELL IN TOTAL RECALL

The latest issue of EW has all the scoop on the must-see action/superhero/fantasy movies of 2012, and Colin Farrell, who is gearing up to enjoy quite the career resurrection when he turns it out in the Fright Night remake (set for release next month) is looking quite tasty in the following pic from the set. The reboot, which is being directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free Or Die Hard) will follow the Phillip K. Dick short story We Can Remember It For You Wholesale and go in a more serious direction that wasn't explored in the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film. The movie is about a man who goes to get a virtual memory implanted in his brain about a vacation to Mars. However, as events after the implantation ensue, the lines become blurred as to whether he actually had the procedure at all, or if he was a freedom fighter from Mars, relocated to Earth. Total Recall stars Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy, John Cho and Bryan Cranston and is set to be released on August 3, 2012.
