Clearly prison is not working because if it was he wouldn't be in the situation he's in. DMX, who has had a long battle with drugs before he was a famous hip hop artist has had his prison stint extended after being busted with drugs.
TMZ says that DMX, born Earl Simmons violated several rules while serving time in Arizona's Yuma state prison. The charges brought against him including drug possession, failing or refusing to take a drug test, unauthorized smoking, being disrespectful, and disorderly conduct. X was supposed to be released from prison today, but now that he's fucked up behind bars, his release date has been set for July 19. Now the question is since he fucked up days before his release, what makes you think he's going to be clean and sober once he's released back into society? It's not that hard to get your hands on drugs in prison, and there really needs to be a look into the ridiculous prison system which is making a lot of private organizations a lot of money. If X is thirsty for some money, Dr. Drew needs to get him on the next season of Celebrity Rehab.
